Not everyone who is sensitive to latex condoms has a real latex allergy. Latex condoms are also available in different surface qualities. In the case of hypoallergenic condoms, as much free latex protein as possible has been removed from the surface. This makes them well tolerated by people with a latex sensitivity.

Hypoallergenic condoms are suitable for you: if sex with a condom is uncomfortable, causes pain, itching or a burning sensation in the vagina or penis. Colloquially, these symptoms are sometimes also referred to as condom allergy or mild latex allergy.

Attention: if you have a confirmed latex allergy and severe allergic symptoms, you should definitely use only latex-free condoms!
