Intimate Earth "Defense" is a vegan and organic lubricant specially formulated for sensitive skin. It is water-based and combines natural extracts of guava bark and seaweed, which have antibacterial properties.
This lubricant is free from glycerin, parabens, and DEA, making it particularly safe for use with condoms and sex toys. It is designed to support the natural microflora while providing excellent lubrication without the use of silicone oils.
This lubricant also serves as an anti-yeast infection and HPV protection product, containing Carrageenan (sea kelp) and Guava bark anti-bacterial extract. Carrageenan has been found in studies to inhibit the infectious ability of viruses that cause cervical cancer and genital warts. Guava Bark, traditionally used in the Amazon to prevent yeast infections and applied to wounds, is considered an astringent for wounds in Brazil.
