Without animal products and animal testing
Aren't condoms always vegan? No! Because many condoms and the materials used have been tested on animals; animal products (e.g. casein) are used as additives in some condoms during the manufacturing process.
However, a vegan lifestyle means only using cruelty-free products without animal ingredients, even for everyday products. Fortunately, there are manufacturers who have developed condoms for vegans so that vegans do not have to do sex without the protection and contraception provided by condoms.
The British Vegan Society has classified GLYDE products as vegan condoms since 2006 (see here); these have been number the 1 among American vegans since a long time, and they are also enjoying increasing popularity in Europe!
