When you think of condoms, you usually think of male condoms. These are rolled over the penis and prevent semen from entering the vagina or anus. This variant of contraception is also called the barrier method and is completely hormone-free. Another advantage that other contraceptive methods do not offer: both partners are effectively protected against diseases and unwanted pregnancies.
